US LEC Corp. (Nasdaq: CLEC), a telecommunications carrier providing voice, data and Internet services to business customers throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, has assembled a new sales team to focus primarily on the Ft. Lauderdale area of South Florida.

Same-store sales remain strong, and we have more than doubled our end customer revenue in Florida in the last 12 months."
